1994-1997 Second Secretary and First Secretary, Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the United States of America.

1997-2000 Division Director and Counsellor, Department of North American and Oceanian Affairs, MFA.

2000-2005 Deputy Director General, Department of North American and Oceanian Affairs, MFA.

2005-2008 Deputy Chief of Mission, Minister, Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the United States of America.

2008-2010 Director General, Department of North American and Oceanian Affairs, MFA.
