David Percival MBE

     Chairman of Manchester China Forum, Managing Director of Deloitte (China)

     David Percival MBE is the Managing Director of China Services Group. David joined Deloitte in 2012 leading a new team – The China                     International Business Development Group which he devised and founded. 

The team focuses on developing strategic business relationships across all Deloitte service lines relating to China’s globalization. This has included a UK government-funded low carbon prorgramme between UK and China and Deloitte's recent review of The UK – China Hyrdrogen sector opportunity.  David joined Deloitte from the UK diplomatic service, UK Trade & Investment (UKTI). Between 2008-2012 David was Director of UKTI’s Investment teams across China and a senior British Consul overseeing the UK Governments relations with over 400 Chinese companies active in the UK. David was also Commercial Director of the UK at Shanghai World Expo 2010 The UK Governments largest ever commercial programme overseas which forged relationships with over 2000 Chinese business leaders.
