Mark Logan was elected as Member of Parliament for Bolton North East, representing the Conservative party in the 2019 General Election.
Through his role in the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee, he scrutinises the Government policy and decision-making, relevant to science, engineering, technology, and research. Prior to his political career, Mark worked as Head of Communications at the British Consulate-General Shanghai, where he orchestrated various campaigns involving UK-China relations. Mark’s accolades include a degree from Queens University Belfast, two master’s degrees from the London School of Economics and the University of Oxford. A keen linguist, Mark can speak fluent Mandarin.
