Former Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills and President of the Board of Trade

The Rt Hon Sir Vince Cable was Secretary of State for Business Innovation and Skills and President of the Board of Trade (2010-2015). He was Member of Parliament for Twickenham 1997-2015.

Before becoming an MP he had varied career in business and academia and was Chief Economist at Shell. And now he is Visiting Professor at the LSE and Nottingham and a regular columnist in the Independent.
