It
is difficult to stop staff sickness and short notice absences.
This has a great negative impact on the care of the services
users at the same time as adding pressure to the already
demanding work load of care staff. WHAT IS NEEDED, IS A
COMPETENT EXPERIENCED TEAM OF STAFF to support you at this
difficult time.
Our
Agency is specialised in Learning Difficulties,
Challenging Behaviour and Mental Health with over 15 years
experience in the field. We aim at providing a competent and
dedicated team of staff to facilitate flexible and yet
consistent care for people with learning difficulties,
challenging behaviour and mental health requirements.
We would like to offer the
support of a small team of staff to allocated homes as we
believe the consistency in care is very important and in case of
shortage of staff, the last thing any manager wants is a new
unfamiliar face in the team. My experience shows that it is very
difficult for the agency staff, no matter how experienced they
are to work along side of new team with new faces. Our agency
will only responds to a managed and planned emergency cover for
the homes.
Unfortunately as it is against
our philosophy of care, we have had to decline many ad hoc
coverage in the past.,
